# 15/10/2019: New sudo release (1.8.28), fixes CVE-2019-14287

A new version of `sudo` has been updated to fix a security
vulnerability, it is recommended that you update as soon as possible.

Note: The package manager itself no longer depends on `sudo` so it can
safely be removed if desired.

-   `kiss update`
